Data architecture · Tech stack · RevOps

Revenue data your whole leadership team can rely on.

I help growth-stage and lower-middle-market companies build their data architecture, simplify their tech stack, and set up revenue operations so marketing, sales, and finance work from the same numbers.

01

Marketing, sales, and finance each report a different pipeline number.

02

The tool stack has grown faster than anyone can connect it or justify the cost.

03

Board reporting still depends on a manual spreadsheet.

04

Forecasts are built on data the team doesn't fully trust.

Services

Three areas of focus.

Data Architecture

A modern, warehouse-centered foundation that unifies marketing, sales, and financial data into one model the business can build on.

  • Warehouse and pipeline design (ELT, dbt modeling)
  • Source integration and custom connectors
  • Metric definitions and a single source of truth
  • Dashboards and BI that leadership uses day to day

Tech Stack Optimization

A review of the tools you pay for, how they're used, and where the gaps are, followed by a plan to consolidate, integrate, and automate.

  • Stack inventory, overlap, and cost review
  • Integration and systems architecture
  • Automation of manual reporting and handoffs
  • Vendor selection and implementation oversight

Revenue Operations

Reporting, forecasting, and process that connect marketing activity to pipeline, revenue, and margin.

  • Full-funnel reporting and attribution
  • Forecasting and performance frameworks
  • Board and investor-ready KPI reporting
  • Fractional RevOps and analytics leadership
Built for

Lower-middle-market companies that have outgrown their early systems and need reliable reporting to scale, integrate an acquisition, or prepare for a transaction.

Built for

CROs, CFOs, and CMOs at growth-stage companies who have outgrown spreadsheets and one-off reports.

Approach

A clear plan, then hands-on implementation.

  1. 01

    Assess

Review your systems, data flows, and the decisions leadership needs to make. Identify where the data falls short.

  2. 02

    Architect

Design the target data model, stack, and metric definitions, with a phased roadmap tied to business priorities.

  3. 03

    Build & automate

Implement pipelines, models, and dashboards hands-on, and automate the reporting your team does by hand today.

  4. 04

    Enable

Hand off documentation and processes so your team can own it, or keep me on as a fractional leader.

About

Jordan Scott

I've spent my career working across data engineering and go-to-market teams. I've led analytics and revenue operations engagements for private-equity-backed companies, and run data and marketing operations for agencies and growth-stage businesses.

My background includes full-funnel marketing, BI, analytics engineering, and web development, so I'm as comfortable in a planning meeting with a CFO as I am building the pipeline myself. I also built a custom Python connector for LinkedIn that was adopted into Airbyte's public repository.

MBA and BBA, University of Kansas.
